The items you want to have checked are your tires, fluids, air conditioner and antifreeze protection of up to around two hundred and fifty degrees of boiling point protection. This is also the time to have your cars thermostat and radiator cap replaced. These two items are not very expensive and will help you in a time of need. Ask your car mechanic when he thinks you should have your cooling system flushed and filled. He will be able to test it both in October and in April during the car care times.
