Iranian researchers at Nano Pars Spadana Company discovered a new method called 'SHOJ' by which it would be possible to produce a wide range of materials at nanoscale.
SHOJ method is an innovation introduced by Nano Pars Spadana Company to synthesize nanomaterials resulting in the production of better quality, purer, and more efficient products.
"This method is a fast one which possesses features like control of preparation of the end products at nanometric scale. For this purpose, we changed several parameters to be able to synthesize materials by the mentioned method", said Mahsa Vakili, laboratory director of the company.
One of the unique properties of this method is the capability of synthesizing different oxides simultaneously. One of those oxides is nanostructured lithium cobalt oxide.
This method can also be used together with other available ones for the synthesis of nanomaterials. According to the administrators of the company, common methods will be replaced by the mentioned one by the end of the year.
The most important products of Nano Pars Spadana Company include nano copper oxide, nano zinc oxide, nano lithium cobalt oxide, nano cobalt oxide, and nanocatalysts used in catalytic conversion units.
The most important product of the company is nano gamma alumina catalyst which is a crucial catalyst for refinery products of Petroleum Refinery and Distribution Company.
According to Vakili, the quality of nano gamma alumina produced in the company is superior to its foreign counterparts. Consequently, this product has attracted many foreign consumers' attentions. A number of contracts have been made with them and a number of offers are being discussed.
