The Auto Express 2011 New Car Awards Design Award has been presented to the Saab PhoeniX concept car, having received 30 per cent of the magazine's online readers' votes.
The Saab PhoeniX concept car features designs and technologies which will be shaping the next generation of Saab's cars.
Auto Express Acting Editor, Graham Hope, said: "The Saab PhoeniX scooped the Design Award after topping our online poll. It was up against 39 rival concept and production cars, but won by a big margin, securing 30 per cent of the vote."
Saab GB Managing Director, Charles Toosey, said: "We are delighted that the PhoeniX has been awarded this prestigious accolade.
"The PhoeniX symbolises a renaissance of the innovative spirit and passion that drove Saab to build its first car, the iconic Ursaab, and we look forward to launching the next generation of Saab models in 2012."
