During the first seven months of 2011, Skoda has delivered 523,200 vehicles across the world, a 19.7 per cent increase compared to the same period of 2010, at 437,300 vehicles.
In July 2011, Skoda reached a sales record with 68,500 vehicles sold, compared to 2010's 58,500.
"Skoda remains in the fast lane," said Jurgen Stackmann, Skoda board member for sales and marketing. "Regions such as China, India, and even Russia reported significant growth in July. We also continued to record strong sales with our attractive model range in the established markets of Western and Eastern Europe."
In the UK, Skoda is set to see its most successful year with over 3,300 vehicles registered in July, which is more than a 10 per cent increase compared to July 2010.
The the czech Republic, Skoda's home market, sales increased 9.6 per cent in July 2011 compared to the same period in 2010.
In Ukraine, sales rose by 54.8 per cent. Slovenia grew by 9.3 per cent, Poland by 3.7 per cent, and Croatia by 4.0 per cent.
Western Europe saw Skoda achieve a 24 per cent increase with 27,200 vehicles sold in July 2011.
In the German market, Skoda increased is market share as the most popular imported brand. In the Netherlands, sales increased 53.2 per cent, and 36.8 per cent in Austria. Belgium recorded a 23.8 per cent sales increase, France achieved 22.6 per cent and Switzerland 13.2 per cent.
In China Skoda delivered 17,800 vehicles, a 15.4 per cent increase. Russia saw its third best monthly result, a 22.7 per cent increase with 6,100 deliveries. India saw a 70.1 per cent increase with 2,300 vehicles sold year to date.
