To raise money for The Prince's Trust, graduates from Bentley Motors will auction unique handcrafted collector's items.

Tooling, Woodshop and Styling teams at Bentley Motors have created a range of one-off collector's items which range from display pieces including a chess set with aluminium pieces on a veneered board, a table created from a polished V8 engine from the Bentley Mulsanne and a cutlery set which was commissioned by Robert Welch and features an engraved Bentley emblem.

Around twenty pieces have been commissioned and with the exception of the cutlery set, have been designed and created on site at Bentley's factory in Crewe.

Michael Straughan, Bentley's Member of the Board for Manufacturing said: "The design brief for the auction was to create a unique and desirable item based upon the core materials, parts and processes that are used to build cars such as the Mulsanne and the Continental GT.

"The results are exquisite and the auction is a rare opportunity for Bentley lovers to own a one-off handcrafted piece of Bentley memorabilia."

The items will be exhibited later this year in Bentley dealerships and will also be on show at the Goodwood Revival Festival between 16th and 18th September 2011, where visitors will be able to learn more about the creation, talk to the Bentley graduates and place bids.

The auction will be hosted online, bidding will open on 1st September 2011.
