Sir Terry Wogan and Pudsey With The Peugeot RCZ
A one off Peugeot RCZ has been auctioned at the BBC Children in Need 'An Evening with the Stars' event in London recently, raising £25,000.
The 32nd year of the BBC telethon highlighted the generosity of the British public.
Andrew Didlick, Director of Communications at Peugeot, said: "Peugeot supports a number of charities throughout the year, so it is great to be involved with BBC Children In Need this year; it is the people's charity, with the funds helping so many disadvantaged children right here in the UK. We hear some great stories of what the nation is up to, the imagination of the UK knows no bounds, and we wanted to join them in supporting this great charity."
David Ramsden, BBC Children in Need Chief Executive, says: "It is fantastic to have Peugeot on board, helping us to raise money that will help change thousands of young lives right across the UK."
Peugeot is supporting BBC Children in Need in a number of events, with the Peugeot RCZ auction being one of the ways in the run up to the BBC Children in Need appeal on Friday, 18th November 2011.
