Mercedes Benz World Little Learner
On 22nd October 2011, Mercedes Benz World will open Little Learners, a driving attraction for children aged between three and seven years the change to drive.
A specially developed indoor road course allows children up to 1.3 metres tall the chance to drive miniature battery powered versions of the Mercedes Benz SL and SLK roadsters. The roads feature traffic lights, junctions and a zebra crossing.
Each experience begins with a short briefing by a team who will always on hand encouraging and supporting the drivers. At the end of the experience, each young person will be given a Little Learners Driving Licence to take home.
Andrew Mallery, Commercial Operations Director, Mercedes Benz Cars commented: "Since we opened the doors to Mercedes Benz World, kids over 1.5 metres tall have been able to get behind the wheel of a full-size, 'real' Mercedes Benz car. The popularity has been unprecedented. With Little Learners we are going even further and giving our youngest visitors the chance to have their very own driving experience, creating an even more exciting destination for families to visit."
Mercedes Benz World is a free attraction, with three floors of displays and exhibits showing the 125 year heritage of the manufacturer. Visitors can see a collection of Formula 1 cars powered by Mercedes Benz as well as iconic and modern vehicles.
