The BMW i3 and i8 Concepts will be presented at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The BMW i3, will be presented as the first purely electrically powered production car within the BMW Group while the BMW i8 Concept will be presented as one of the latest generation sports cars. It features a unique plug-in hybrid design, combining an internal combustion engine and an electric drive to deliver powerful driving experience with low fuel consumption and emissions.

The New BMW M5

The new BMW M5 will have its world premiere at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, featuring a few high-revving V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, producing a peak output of 412kW/560hp with maximum torque of 680Nm. The power is delivered to the rear wheels through the seven speed M double clutch Drivelogic Transmission, with torque distributed by the new Active M differential.

The New BMW 1 Series

The second generation BMW 1 Series will be on show at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new model features rear wheel drive - unique to this compact segment - as well as four cylinder engines with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology.

The new BMW 1 Series also boasts the BMW ConnectedDrive systems, which includes new information systems such as the Speed Limit Information System with No-Passing Info and the Lane Departure Warning System with Collision Warning, available for the first time on the BMW 1 Series.

The BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Edition

The BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Edition will have its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Edition delivers 148hp and CO2 emissions of 119g/km.

The BMW 5 Series sees an upgraded and extended range of engines with both the new petrol and diesel engines featuring BMW TwinPower Turbo technology alongside a new Auto Start Stop feature on additional models with automatic transmission and Driving Experience Control including ECO PRO mode as standard for all four and six cylinder models.

The New BMW 6 Series Coupe and Convertible

The new BMW 6 Series Coupe, seeing its European debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, offers three engine options with Xdrive four wheel drive available as an option.

Joining the BMW 6 Series Coupe will be the new 6 Series Convertible. The new model features a V8 and a six cylinder inline engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, both models are also available with a 313hp diesel engine, offering fuel consumption of 5.4 to 5.5 litres per

100 kilometres in the EU test cycle for the BMW 640d Coupe and 5.6 to 5.7 litres for the BMW 640d Convertible.
