Jaguar XK 140
At the Goodwood Revival between 16th and 18th September 2011, a special Fordwater Trophy race will consist of Jaguar E-types, to include a number of rare lightweight models built between 1961 and 1966.
The Jaguar E-types will be driven by a number of famous drivers including Gerhard Berger, Jochen Mass, Adrian Newey, Andy Priaulx, John Cleland, Andy Wallace and Rowan Atkinson.
Covering the history of Jaguar will be a selection of vehicles including the SS100, the XK120 and XK140, the D-type and the E-type, which, this year, is celebrates its 50th anniversary.
2011 has seen a number of events with Jaguar E-types travelling through London, Geneva, San Francisco and New York, as well as a 28 metre sculpture erected at the Goodwood festival of Speed, 757 privately own models at Silverstone Circuit and exclusive E-type race meetings.
In 2010, 134,000 people visited the Goodwood Revival over the three days, most wearing period clothing to match the pre-1966 vehicles involved.
